Preview: Brianna

I was lucky to get an email from Brianna of Major in NY and Look in SF just days before her trip here. We set up a small, unorganized shoot but I'm happy to say there are some nice resulting photos, even though we planned the shoot in virtually two days. MU by my usual Inna Mathews.

Paris Instagramage

A few snaps from my few days in Paris, France. I have been to Paris before, and this trip was much colder, shorter, and lonesome...but since I got the touristy stuff out of the way last time I was in Paris, I got the chance to venture in quaint neighborhoods and really see Paris. Follow me on Instagram for more. I still have three more countries to share with you guys...what a year of adventure this was!

Morocco Instagramage

Morocco is now one of my favorite places I've ever been to. The culture is so rich, the street scenes so colorful, the food is so delicious, and the people are beyond hospitable. If I wasn't so enamored with Croatia's waters I could easily say it was my favorite place I visited during my second summer trip. If you're not getting my images instantly, you should definitely follow me on Instagram ;). Next blog post will be all about Paris!

Spain Instagramage Take II

If you had told me a year ago that I would go to Spain not just once but twice in 2013, I would've told you to get outta here. Life changed, work changed, and my eurotrip took me there in May. A few months later, my schedule was flexible for me to travel again and I really wanted to go to Morocco (the next blog post will cover this, promise!). I didn't feel like I got my fill of Spain the time before, especially Granada, and they're right next to each other and flights into Madrid were way cheaper than flights into Morocco so...

This was a mother-daughter trip and I saw a lot of cities, including Granada, Seville, and Tarifa, that I enjoyed much more than those I saw during my first trip. The funny thing is I don't LOVE Spain to go there twice in one summer. If you missed them, check out my Instagramage from my first Spain trip. Also, be sure to follow me on Instagram!

Inspired by Dead Men

My shoot with model Garett (Look SF/LA Models) was inspired by the Great Depression. In addition we had two musical inspirations, "Flower" by Moby and "Barton Hollow" by the Civil Wars. Peep the slideshow I made with these photos and music on my Instagram.

Egypt Instagramage

If you guys feel like I've neglect this blog this year, you're absolutely right. Looking back on 2013, this year was insanely awesome (and a little insane). In May I moved out of my victorian home in Berkeley, packed my gear into my parents' garage and took off to Spain, Italy, and Egypt. I came home for about two months for various reasons and then I took off to Spain again, followed by Morroco, France, Croatia, and Bosnia. I came home for a week and then I went to Mexico for Day of the Dead. To say this year was epic is no understatement.

I hope this is a good enough excuse for having left this space in lingo for so long this year. Life > Internet life.

In any case, I want to share some Instagramage from the portion of my trip in Egypt. I left the day before the counter revolution started, so you can see Egypt from my eyes prior to that period. Of course, if you follow me on Instagram, you would've seen these all already. Enjoy.
